This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation Engineer to join a rapidly growing global technology business delivering innovative software solutions to the manufacturing sector.
As the Senior Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation, you will:
- Conduct site surveys and assess manufacturing equipment for data collection opportunities
- Integrate PLCs, sensors, and industrial devices with software platforms
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols
- Support implementation and commissioning activities at customer sites
- Work closely with customer engineering, operations, and IT teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice development
You will have:
- Experience within Automation, Controls, Manufacturing Systems, OT, or Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
- Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Profinet, Modbus TCP, or EtherNet/IP
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Willingness to travel
