MCS Group is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their finance function based in Banbridge.

The Company: Our client is a successful and established organisation with a strong presence in Northern Ireland. As part of the continued development of their finance function, they are seeking a qualified Accountant to support the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and wider commercial decision-making.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an established finance team and gain broad exposure across financial accounting, project performance and business partnering.

The Rewards: As the successful Senior Accountant, you will receive:

  • £60,000 - £65,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
  • Opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller and wider senior management team;
  • Broad commercial exposure across a growing organisation.
  • Office based with early finish on Friday;

The Role: As the successful Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for:

  • Lead financial management and monthly reporting for projects;
  • Prepare monthly management accounts;
  • Business partner with key stakeholders across the business;
  • Review and sign off multi-jurisdictional payrolls;
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and automation of management reporting;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance controls and systems;
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person: The successful Accountant will meet the following criteria:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent;
  • Strong financial accounting, analytical and commercial skills;
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management experience;
  • Strong IT and excel skills.
