This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organised professional who can support project delivery, stakeholder engagement, funding administration, and programme monitoring while helping to drive positive outcomes across local communities.
The Role:- Support the delivery of economic development and regeneration programmes.
- Build and maintain relationships with businesses, stakeholders, and funding partners.
- Provide business support, advice, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Assist with funding applications, grant administration, and financial monitoring.
- Assess projects and prepare reports, appraisals, and recommendations.
- Monitor project performance, compliance, and record-keeping requirements.
- Support communications, partnerships, procurement, and wider departmental initiatives.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Relevant Level 4+ qualification in Business or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
- Experience in economic development, regeneration, community development, or rural development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Full driving licence/access to transport and flexibility to attend evening meetings when required.
Salary: £28,000-£30,000 annual equivalent. Fantastic annual leave allowance, 35 days total. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Immediate start.
