This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organised professional who can support project delivery, stakeholder engagement, funding administration, and programme monitoring while helping to drive positive outcomes across local communities.

The Role:
  • Support the delivery of economic development and regeneration programmes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses, stakeholders, and funding partners.
  • Provide business support, advice, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Assist with funding applications, grant administration, and financial monitoring.
  • Assess projects and prepare reports, appraisals, and recommendations.
  • Monitor project performance, compliance, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Support communications, partnerships, procurement, and wider departmental initiatives.
The Person:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant Level 4+ qualification in Business or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in economic development, regeneration, community development, or rural development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Full driving licence/access to transport and flexibility to attend evening meetings when required.
