MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Quality Manager for our client, a leading provider of electrical engineering and technical services delivering complex projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. This role will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing quality standards across large‑scale electrical and mission‑critical projects, with a strong focus on data centre developments and fast‑paced technical environments. The successful candidate will oversee quality assurance processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations across all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve quality management systems and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and company policies
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality reviews across projects
  • Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and clients on quality matters
  • Support project commissioning and handover processes

About You

  • Experience in a Quality Manager or QA role within electrical, construction, or M&E environments
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and compliance procedures
  • Experience working on large‑scale or fast‑paced projects
  • Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills

Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering, electrical, or quality management qualification
  • Lead Auditor qualification or ISO 9001 experience is highly desirable
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems
