Qualified Accountant – Practice
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well known, reputable Practice based in Armagh as they look to recruit a qualified accountant for their growing team.
Our client is a well established Accountancy Practice who pride themselves on the professional delivery of tax, accounting and audit services to their varied portfolio of clients. They are embarking on an impressive and exciting growth period – this is a great time to be joining the team!
Responsibilities
- End to end audit of a portfolio of clients
- Manage a portfolio of clients and complete tax returns and statutory accounts production
- Supervise junior staff with audit, tax returns, accounts prep etc
- Assist senior management with the day to day running of the practice
- Liase directly with clients and senior management
Qualifications
- ACA / ACCA qualified (newly qualified and above)
- Qualified by experience (QBE) also considered
- Ideally from a general practice background
- Confident in identifying and raising issues with clients proactively
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Skilled in reviewing work of junior team members
- Able to demonstrate strong communication and IT skills
