MCS Group is looking for an experienced, hands-on Python Developer for a 6 month contract in Belfast. This is a superb opportunity for someone to gain exposure to a market disruptor within their sector. If you are passionate, self-motivated and have 3+ year's hands-on commercial Python development experience, this could be exactly the project you have been looking for. For more information – please click to apply!! The Details You will be getting involved in the next generation development of this client's core platform. You will spend 2 – 3 days per week in their office in Belfast City Centre, surrounded by a team of exceptionally talented people. This is the perfect contract for someone who enjoys maths and numbers, who excels at problem solving, and has proven experience of building solutions for data capture and developing low latency APIs. Additionally, this Python Developer will Design and Build models to represent the relationships between numerous, highly complex, data sources. The contract is initially for 6 months, and is looking for someone to start in the next few weeks so is ideal if you are immediately available, or can be available at short notice. The Person This role requires solid experience of hands on Python Development and working with large complex data-sets. A degree in a STEM subject is essential. You will additionally bring excellent SQL skills, and have demonstrable experience with AWS (ECS and Lambda) and have previously worked with Terraform and CI/CD tooling. Strong experience with the manipulation of complex datasets. You must be available for hybrid working in Belfast City Centre.
