The Role:
- Delivers capital and minor works projects from planning through to completion.
- Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Acts as lead project manager for assigned schemes and coordinates stakeholders and contractors.
- Develops project plans, specifications, work programmes and cost estimates.
- Manages procurement, tendering and project expenditure to achieve value for money.
- Monitors project progress, risks and performance, providing regular updates and advice.
- Works collaboratively across teams to support effective and compliant project delivery.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified in a building-related subject, or alternatively extensive relevant project management experience.
- Experience managing capital projects from design through to client handover.
- Proven delivery of commercial or public sector capital and minor works projects.
- Strong experience managing project budgets and controlling expenditure.
