Job Duties of the Private Client Tax Manager include:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing advice across inheritance tax, trusts, estates and succession planning.
- Deliver tax planning projects and review complex tax returns, ensuring high-quality and technically accurate work.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for day-to-day tax matters.
- Support and develop junior team members through coaching, review and technical guidance.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support wider business development.
What you need to be the Successful Private Client Tax Manager?
- CTA qualified with strong experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
- Good technical knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, estates, succession planning and capital taxes.
- Experience managing client work streams and supporting junior team members.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Comfortable with technical research and specialist tax software.
