MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a local insurance company who are seeking to add an experienced commercial account executive to their Portadown Office.

The Company: Our client has been established for over 50 years, and have been consistent in delivering a service to clients with integrity and transparency. With multiple offices across Northern Ireland, they have specialists in commercial and personal insurance and offer an environment to where you can drive your own areas of achievement.

The Role: As the successful Commercial Account Executive you will be required to:

  • Make proactive approaches in B2B sales as well as responding to client enquiries
  • Engage in client facing activity to draw out their needs/wants
  • Work with our insurance partners to determine best solutions, including clear communication internally to supporting staff
  • Package your proposal and present to the client to achieve the best outcome
  • Proactively plan your achievement and work with team members to implement and measure success

What You Need to Succeed: As the successful Commercial Account Executive you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 successful years of brokering in the 'Account Executive' role
  • A Level 3 Certificate of Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute
  • Knowledgeable, trustworthy and a great communicator
  • Able to understand the 'Client first, Profit second' philosophy of open market
  • Autonomous - able to set and achieve their own targets and work on a non-incentive based salary approach
