MCS Group are delighted to be working with a steadfast local accountancy firm based in Belfast city centre to recruit for an experienced payroll professional into their team.
The Company: Well-established mid-tier accountancy and advisory firm with offices in Belfast and Dublin, supporting clients across NI, ROI and the wider UK market. The firm provides a broad range of services including audit, accounts, tax, forensic accounting and payroll, working with owner-managed businesses and organisations across sectors such as construction, hospitality and legal. Known for its modern, client-focused approach, the practice has built a strong reputation through long-standing relationships and organic growth over the past 25+ years.
The Rewards: As the successful payroll specialist you will receive:
- £25,000-£35,000 salary (DOE)
- Hybrid working
- 25 days annual leave + statutory holidays
- Auto-enrolment pension
The Role: As the successful payroll specialist you will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and on time
- Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance
The Person: As the successful payroll specialist you will meet the following criteria:
- At least 2 years' payroll experience
- Experience using Sage and/or Xero
- Strong communication and organisational skills
