Part-time HR Manager – Newly created – Permanent MCS Group is delighted to partner with an organisation going through an exciting period of growth as they look to add a part-time HR Manager to their team, in this newly created role. The role: This is a newly created, hands-on generalist HR role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the operation and making a visible impact. Working closely with senior leaders and line managers, you will lead the day-to-day HR agenda while also shaping and delivering key people initiatives. The main responsibilities: Providing pragmatic, hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Leading and supporting performance management processes, including coaching managers on effective people management. Developing and implementing skills development and career pathways across the business. Managing and promoting apprenticeship programmes and early careers initiatives. Supporting learning and development activity aligned to operational and future skills needs. Driving employer brand initiatives to attract, engage and retain talent. Advising on employee relations matters, policies and HR best practice. Ensuring HR processes are compliant, practical and fit for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate: Proven HR experience within manufacturing or similar operational environment. Strong hands-on experience in performance management and employee development. A practical, people-focused approach with strong communication skills. Hands-on practice knowledge of NI legislation. CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
