MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Part-Qualified Accountant/ Newly Qualified Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company: A respected and well-established independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, based in Belfast, is currently expanding its team. While most of their clients are located throughout Northern Ireland, they also serve a diverse international client base across the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The team includes experienced professionals from a range of specialisms, including chartered accountancy, tax advisory, trust and estate planning, and human resources.

Job Duties of the Part-Qualified Accountant/ Newly Qualified Accountant include:
- Statutory & management accounts preparation, with a strong focus on MTD
- Personal & Corporation Tax Returns, predominantly Personal Tax
- VAT returns
- Review trainee work and support January tax deadlines
- Tax consultancy and client management
- Report into the Manager
What you need to be the Successful Part-Qualified Accountant/ Newly Qualified Accountant:
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, ideally small to mid-tier.
- Strong accounts preparation experience, including statutory accounts.
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, QBE or ATI qualified.
- Experience with Accounts preparation, Personal/Corporate Tax, VAT and general practice work desirable.
- Comfortable managing a varied workload and building strong client relationships.
