MCS Group is delighted to recruit an Operations Supervisor to lead a Material Preparation team within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, based in Garvagh.

You will:

  • Lead and supervise the Material Preparation team
  • Manage material planning, stock control, and traceability
  • Coordinate processing through internal resources and subcontractors
  • Ensure production schedules and delivery targets are achieved
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
  • Drive continuous improvement across the department

About you:

  • Experience within manufacturing, fabrication, steel processing, or heavy engineering
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong production planning and materials management skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
