The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in supporting U.S. tax compliance and tax accounting, acting as a trusted member of the tax team while delivering accurate reporting, supporting audits, and contributing to tax planning initiatives.
The Rewards: As the successful Senior Tax Analyst, you will receive:
- £50,000 - £60,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus extensive benefits;

The Role: As the successful Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare and support U.S. federal and state corporate tax compliance, including tax returns, provisions (ASC 740), and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Assist with monthly tax accounting, reconciliations, FIN 48 analysis, and SOX compliance.
- Support IRS and state tax audits by preparing responses, documentation, and liaising with external advisors.
- Conduct tax technical research, monitor legislative changes, and assess their impact on the business.
- Contribute to tax planning initiatives, state nexus reviews, and M&A projects alongside the wider tax team.
The Person: The successful Senior Tax Analyst will meet the following criteria:
- Strong experience in corporate tax, gained in practice or industry.
- Exposure to U.S. federal and state tax compliance and/or tax accounting (ASC 740 experience is advantageous).
- CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards the qualification, or an equivalent accounting/tax qualification.
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision or similar tax software would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills with great attention to detail.
- A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating, learning new skills and taking ownership of their work.
