Senior HR Officer - Belfast Looking for your next step in HR? We're working exclusively with a leading construction organisation to recruit a Senior HR Officer to join their growing HR team. With operations across NI, GB and ROI, this is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a busy business where no two days are the same. You'll have a broad role across recruitment, ER and wider HR projects, while working closely with managers and employees across the organisation. The Role You'll be part of an established HR team, taking ownership of recruitment activity while providing day-to-day HR and ER support across the business. Managing recruitment from start to finish Getting involved in careers fairs, mock interviews and recruitment events Supporting managers with ER matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and probation Supporting social value and employment initiatives across projects Helping deliver HR training Preparing monthly HR reports covering recruitment, training, absence and turnover Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives Assisting with HR policies and procedures Getting involved in wider ESG, Diversity Mark and Investors in People initiatives Regularly visiting sites and supporting careers and community activities The ideal candidate Previous HR experience (ideally within construction, manufacturing or another fast-paced environment) CIPD qualified or working towards a qualification Strong ER experience and confidence advising managers Good end-to-end recruitment experience A solid understanding of employment legislation and HR policies Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive and approachable personality What's on offer?
