An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Data & AI Consulting team that partners with large enterprise organisations to deliver complex digital transformation programmes. This is a client-facing role where you'll work with organisations to define how data should be structured, governed and managed across the entire business. Rather than focusing on a single application or platform, you'll help shape enterprise-wide data architecture, supporting organisations as they modernise their technology landscape and prepare for future AI initiatives. You'll work alongside Data Engineers, AI specialists and business stakeholders, providing architectural direction and helping clients solve complex data challenges.
The Role
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you'll play a key role in designing enterprise-wide data models and supporting large-scale transformation programmes from strategy through to delivery. You'll engage directly with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, translate business requirements into enterprise data architecture and work closely with technical delivery teams to ensure successful implementation. This role is more focused on architecture, consulting and stakeholder engagement than hands-on development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-wide data architecture and data models.
- Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Define data governance, integration and master data strategies.
- Produce enterprise architecture documentation and data models.
- Work across multiple enterprise systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI specialists and delivery teams.
- Provide technical leadership throughout transformation programmes.
- Support solution design and, at Senior Manager level, contribute to pre-sales activities.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with experience delivering enterprise-level data architecture within a software, consulting or large enterprise environment. You'll have experience in:
- Enterprise Data Architecture
- Enterprise Data Modelling
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data Governance
- Data Integration
- Business Process Modelling
- Stakeholder Management
- Workshop Facilitation
You'll also have exposure to modern cloud technologies such as:
- Azure
- AWS
- GCP
- Snowflake
Experience using enterprise data modelling tools such as SQLDBM, erwin, ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner or similar would be highly desirable. Consulting experience is beneficial but not essential.
Manager & Senior Manager Opportunities
Opportunities are available at both Manager and Senior Manager level. The Senior Manager role will involve greater responsibility for leading programmes, managing client relationships and supporting business development, while Managers will lead workstreams and delivery teams within larger transformation programmes.
In addition, you'll receive:
- Annual discretionary bonus
- Flexible benefits allowance
- Excellent pension scheme
- Hybrid working
- Ongoing career development
