MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Mallusk to recruit a Credit Controller for a 6 month fixed-term contract, with the potential of extension.

The Role

Reporting to the Credit Control Lead, this role will involve:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances
  • Negotiating and agreeing appropriate payment plans
  • Ensuring debts are managed in line with internal policies and procedures
  • Escalating overdue or high-risk accounts when required
  • Maintaining accurate records while delivering a high level of service

The Person

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills and confidence handling phone-based conversations
  • Experience in credit control, collections, or within a regulated environment
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
