Commercial Excellence Lead Belfast (Hybrid) Competitive Salary MCS are delighted to be supporting a leading and growing organisation with the appointment of a Commercial Excellence & Operations Lead.
This is a highly visible and commercially important role, acting as the operational extension of the Chief Commercial Officer and helping to translate commercial strategy into effective execution across the wider commercial function.
The successful candidate will provide coordination, insight and accountability across commercial teams and markets, enabling the Chief Commercial Officer to focus on strategic growth initiatives.
They are seeking an individual with strong commercial acumen, excellent organisational skills, advanced analytical capability and the confidence to work effectively with senior stakeholders across Ireland, the UK and international markets.
Key Responsibilities Provide operational support to the Chief Commercial Officer and commercial leadership team.
Coordinate commercial initiatives, strategic priorities and cross-functional projects, ensuring actions are delivered on time.
Monitor team objectives, KPIs and commercial performance across Ireland, the UK and international markets.
Support planning, budgeting, forecasting and business review processes.
Develop processes and frameworks that improve commercial efficiency, accountability and execution.
Coordinate commercial incentive and commission programmes, working closely with Finance and HR.
Produce performance reports and identify key trends, risks and opportunities.
Act as the main link with the external marketing agency, coordinating campaigns, events, communications and brand activity.
Ensure marketing activity aligns with commercial objectives and monitor campaign effectiveness.
Support Technical and Nutrition teams with diet formulation administration and data transfer into the central production database.
Support senior leadership meetings, customer reviews and strategic projects through effective preparation, follow-up and reporting.
Essential Criteria Degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Commercial Management, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline Minimum five years' experience in commercial operations, sales operations, commercial excellence, business support or a comparable role Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI capability Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate analysis into practical actions Experience working with senior leadership teams and managing senior stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational, planning and follow-through capability Willingness and flexibility to travel for customer meetings and business requirements.
