MCS Group is delighted to partner with a leading manufacturing business within the healthcare sector. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in automation projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development of advanced manufacturing systems within a regulated environment.
You will:
- Design, program, commission, and support automated manufacturing equipment
- Develop and maintain PLC and HMI systems
- Support equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Contribute to Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives
You will have:
- HND or equivalent in Engineering, Automation, Electrical or Electronic discipline
- Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi or similar)
- Experience within manufacturing automation or controls
- Knowledge of robotics, motion control, HMIs, and industrial networks
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
