This is an excellent role for a confident and capable HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will help lead the HR function and provide both strategic and operational support across multiple sites. Experience in both NI and ROI jurisdictions is essential, as you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, consistency, and best practice across the organisation.
The main responsibilities:
- Manage the full HR function across NI and ROI.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with NI and ROI legislation.
- Support learning, development, and talent management initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and culture-building activities.
- Manage absence, wellbeing, and occupational health processes.
- Lead organisational change and HR improvement projects.
- Produce HR reports and insights for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate:
- Similar experience within manufacturing, construction, engineering, or similar environments.
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of NI and ROI employment legislation (essential).
- Proven ability to manage complex ER cases with confidence.
