The Company: MCS Group are partnering with a reputable wealth management company to hire a Paraplanner for their headquarters office in the greater Lisburn area. Providing a full range of financial services including Insurance & Protection, Savings & Investments, and Pensions, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored advice and building long-term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit and growing team, offering strong exposure, career progression, and the opportunity to develop into an Adviser role.
The Rewards: As the successful Paraplanner, you will receive:
- £28,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
- Hybrid/flexible working options (4x Days Office)
- 22 days annual leave
- 13 statutory days
- Full support and pathway to progress into an Adviser role
The Role: As the successful Paraplanner you will report to the Director, and will be responsible for:
- Work in an end-to-end paraplanning role supporting financial advisers
- Meet with clients and assist with fact-finding processes
- Conduct research on pensions, investments, and protection products
- Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documents
- Process new business applications (pensions, ISAs, investments)
- Prepare client meeting packs and portfolio reports
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person: As the successful Paraplanner, you will meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within financial services
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
