MCS Group is recruiting a Mechanical Design Manager for our client, a rapidly growing engineering business at a pivotal stage of expansion. This role will be based in Limavady.

Are you a Mechanical Design Manager who can lead and develop a growing design team within a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you will help shape processes, influence product development, and drive engineering standards as the business scales.

You will lead the delivery of high-quality mechanical design solutions across live projects, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and production ready.

The successful candidate:

  • Strong background in mechanical design within manufacturing or engineering
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and design for manufacture
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
