Marketing Assistant

MCS are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading hospitality groups to help bring their brands to life through engaging content, innovative campaigns and digital storytelling.

They are seeking a creative, dynamic and highly organised Marketing Assistant to support the marketing manager and wider marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic marketer with a passion for social media, content creation and hospitality to work across a portfolio of award-winning brands. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring online and offline marketing remains engaging and relevant while helping to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple brands.
• Create engaging content for social media, websites, email marketing and offline channels.
• Manage and update brand websites, ensuring content is accurate and current.
• Capture photography and videography content in line with marketing and events calendars.
• Manage CRM initiatives and support customer communication campaigns.
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to engage audiences through emerging platforms.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure awareness of marketing activity.

Essential Criteria

• Third-level qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years' experience within a marketing role.
• Experience managing social media channels and creating digital content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, time management and project management abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Criteria

• Photography and videography experience.
• Previous experience within the hospitality, tourism or leisure industry.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
• Experience using design and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
