MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician based in Derry/Londonderry to support the Preventive Maintenance programme. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining high-output machinery, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
As the Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Maintain and repair production machinery to ensure maximum uptime
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system faults
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Interpret electrical drawings and work with PLC-controlled systems
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency
You will have:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role within a production/process environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
