MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, multi-site organisation as they appoint an HR Manager, a genuinely high-impact, career-defining role.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the people function and drive real change across the business. Operating in a fast-paced, operational environment, you will work closely with senior leadership to build, embed, and shape a consistent and compliant HR function across multiple locations. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on delivery, can operate strategically when required, and is confident influencing at senior level.

The main responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the HR function.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across all HR matters.
  • Manage and lead on complex employee relations cases.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive improvements across onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Lead recruitment and workforce planning across the business.
  • Support organisational design, structures, and job frameworks.
  • Deliver a compensation & benefits review to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, culture, and retention.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex ER issues.
  • Experience building or improving HR structures, processes, or functions.
