HR Assistant We're working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an HR Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining HR support with hands-on recruitment.

You'll support the full employee lifecycle while taking ownership of recruitment activity, making this an ideal role for someone looking to continue building their career in HR.

The role As HR Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day HR support across the business while managing recruitment from advert through to onboarding.

You'll also support employee engagement initiatives, maintain accurate HR records, and help ensure HR processes run smoothly.

The main responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activity.

Provide HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Support absence management, learning and development, and employee relations.

Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.

Assist with employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and company events.

Produce HR correspondence and maintain HR systems.

Support the wider HR team with projects and continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate Previous experience in a HR Assistant or similar HR support role.

Experience supporting recruitment for a variety of roles.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.

HR or CIPD qualification, or working towards it, would be an advantage.
