We're exclusively supporting the business in the appointment of a Senior HR Officer to join its growing HR function. The role offers a broad remit, combining recruitment, employee relations, HR projects and wider people initiatives, with plenty of opportunity to develop your experience. The Role Working as part of an established HR team, you'll provide day-to-day support to managers and employees across the business, with a strong focus on recruitment and employee relations. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders and have the opportunity to get involved in wider HR, community and people-focused projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate recruitment activity from initial vacancy through to appointment Support careers events, mock interviews and wider recruitment initiatives Provide practical ER advice across investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, probation and absence Assist with social value, employment and community initiatives across projects Develop and deliver HR training and awareness sessions Prepare and support monthly HR reporting covering recruitment, training, absence and turnover Contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives Support the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures Contribute to the organisation's wider ESG agenda Support Diversity Mark and Investors in People initiatives Attend sites regularly and represent the business at careers and community events The ideal candidate CIPD qualified or working towards a relevant HR qualification Previous HR experience within a fast-paced industry Strong experience across employee relations and end-to-end recruitment experience Confident providing guidance and support to line managers Sound knowledge of HR policies and employment legislation Excellent communication and organisational skills Proactive, approachable and comfortable working in a busy environment The Benefits Competitive salary + bonus, dependent on experience Enhanced annual leave Attractive wider benefits package Hybrid and flexible working Modern offices with onsite facilities To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Tara Duffy (HR Recruitment Specialist, MCS Group) at or .
