You'll work on business-critical software used by organisations across the UK, taking genuine ownership of your work in a team where good ideas can quickly make an impact.
The company takes a modern approach to development and is actively introducing AI-assisted tools across its engineering processes.
You don't need extensive AI experience, but you should be interested in how these tools can help you design, build and deliver better software.
The Role You'll work across the full development lifecycle, building new functionality and improving an established software platform.
Rather than working on one narrow area, you'll gain exposure across user interfaces, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
You'll also have the freedom to take a requirement, work through the detail and deliver a complete solution.
As the business and engineering team grow, there will be clear scope to take on greater technical responsibility and progress into a more senior position.
What You'll Need Commercial software development experience.
Confidence working across both front-end and back-end development.
Experience designing or integrating APIs and working with databases.
The ability to manage your own workload and deliver without constant direction.
A strong approach to testing, code quality and maintainable development.
An interest in AI-assisted software engineering.
The communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
A proactive, dependable approach suited to a smaller development team.
Experience with Type Script, Angular, Postgre SQL or AWS would be beneficial, although the company is open to developers from other technical backgrounds who can demonstrate strong fundamentals and an ability to learn.
