MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Plant & Fleet Manager for our client, a well-established organisation operating within the Utilities sector across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operational team responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient management of plant equipment and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage plant and fleet maintenance to maximise uptime and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with inspections, servicing schedules, operator checks, and MOT/PSV requirements
  • Coordinate fitters, suppliers, and contractors for repairs and planned maintenance
  • Monitor maintenance costs, parts procurement, hire/lease, and asset renewal planning
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records to support safe operations

About You

  • Proven experience within a Plant & Fleet Management role or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, compliance, and inspection regimes
  • Excellent organisational and supplier management skills
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving ability
  • Cost-conscious with the ability to manage budgets effectively
