MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician based in Derry/Londonderry to support the Preventive Maintenance programme. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining high-output machinery, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Maintain and repair production machinery to ensure maximum uptime
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system faults
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Interpret electrical drawings and work with PLC-controlled systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within a production/process environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
