We are working with a market leading global professional services firm to hire an experienced Oracle Testing/Release Manager into their Technology and Transformation practice. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle on complex Oracle ERP projects, designing test strategies and overseeing execution across SIT, UAT, performance and regression testing, while also leading release planning and deployment to ensure smooth, controlled transitions into production. This is a client-facing role requiring strong stakeholder management as well as technical depth.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading and managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Oracle ERP implementation and enhancement programmes
  • Designing, implementing, and overseeing test strategies across SIT, UAT, performance, and regression testing
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing software releases, managing deployment activities and associated risk
  • Providing technical guidance on testing and release management best practice to project teams and clients
  • Managing stakeholder communications across development, business, and operations teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of testing and release management capability

What we are looking for:

  • Practical experience leading testing activities on large scale Oracle ERP programmes, ideally Oracle Cloud ERP or E-Business Suite
  • Strong release management experience, including planning, scheduling, and deploying releases in complex environments
  • Understanding of Oracle ERP modules and integrations
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as Oracle Application Testing Suite, HP ALM, Jira, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience across Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ITIL release frameworks
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Must be able to obtain UK Government SC clearance

A strong differentiator but not essential: experience with test automation tools for Oracle, understanding of DevOps and CI/CD in an Oracle context, or relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ITIL, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations.

The details:

  • Location: Belfast or London
  • Working pattern: Hybrid
  • SC clearance eligibility required
