MCS Group is recruiting a Test Technician/ Electronic Technician for our client based in Belfast on a temporary contract basis. In this role, you will:

  • Assembly of electronic components and systems in line with technical drawings and specifications
  • Carry out quality and testing inspection of components
  • Mount components in assembly jigs with care and attention to detail
  • Accurately complete assembly and test records
  • Strict adherence to production processes and quality control requirements

You will have:

  • Educated to ONC/OND level or equivalent OR GCSE level or equivalent, in Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • Previous experience in an electronic assembly or test role
  • Good manual dexterity required for handling/manipulation of small/delicate components, with strong fault-finding skills down to component level
  • Ability to solder
  • Good understanding of quality standards and procedures
  • Good written and communication skills
  • IT Literate
