We are hiring a Data Architect for a globally recognised customer engagement and loyalty platform that partners with some of the world's largest financial services and retail brands. They are kicking off a major transformation programme this year with a significant focus on end-to-end automation and AI, and this role will be central to shaping how data is used across the business.

This is an individual contributor role with high visibility across both technical and business teams, working closely with an existing data architect locally and a principal data engineer in London.

What they are looking for:

  • Strong data architecture background with hands-on AWS experience; AWS migration from on-prem to cloud is actively underway, so this is non-negotiable.
  • Experience designing and owning scalable data platforms, real-time and batch pipelines.
  • Strong data modelling and ETL/ELT experience across SQL and NoSQL.
  • Background in large transformation programmes; banking and telecoms experience particularly valued.
  • Data governance, security and performance optimisation experience.
  • Interest or practical experience in AI and automation; agentic AI is a genuine differentiator.
  • Production mindset; someone who sees solutions through to delivery rather than just designing them.

Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in Belfast office.

Salary: Up to £80,000 with flexibility for the right person, plus benefits including private healthcare, life cover, dental and optical, share scheme and 25 days holiday with buy/sell flexibility.
