Job Duties of the Senior Payroll Specialist include:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK payroll clients (ranging from 1 to 700 employees)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all client payroll queries and relationships
  • Oversee complex payroll tasks including benefits, pensions, and statutory deductions
  • Administer both weekly and monthly payroll runs
  • Support business development through client retention, upselling, and onboarding

What you need to be the Successful Senior Payroll Specialist?

  • Extensive experience in payroll, ideally within a bureau environment
  • Strong background in either an accountancy practice or payroll bureau
  • Open to candidates with in-house payroll experience
  • CIPP qualification preferred but not essential
  • Looking for someone who can take full ownership of client payrolls and deliver excellent service
