This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation Engineer to join a rapidly growing global technology business delivering innovative software solutions to the manufacturing sector.

As the Senior Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation, you will:

  • Conduct site surveys and assess manufacturing equipment for data collection opportunities
  • Integrate PLCs, sensors, and industrial devices with software platforms
  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols
  • Support implementation and commissioning activities at customer sites
  • Work closely with customer engineering, operations, and IT teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice development

You will have:

  • Experience within Automation, Controls, Manufacturing Systems, OT, or Industrial Engineering
  • Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
  • Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Profinet, Modbus TCP, or EtherNet/IP
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
  • Willingness to travel
