This assignment offers the chance to play a key role in the development and delivery of a schools-based engagement programme, working closely with education stakeholders. MCS Group are proud to be partnering with an organisation in their search for an Outreach and Engagement Co-ordinator. This assignment is ideal for a proactive and organised professional who can quickly build relationships, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, develop programme resources, and support the successful rollout of a new programme within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
- Build and maintain partnerships with post-primary schools to support programme participation.
- Engage and communicate regularly with schools and key education stakeholders.
- Coordinate the setup and delivery of a schools engagement programme within tight deadlines.
- Develop and update programme resources and supporting materials.
- Monitor participation, accreditation progress, and programme outcomes through accurate record-keeping.
- Organise meetings, schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment to achieve programme objectives.
- Provide flexible support, including occasional evening work when required.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Essential: Relevant degree (e.g., Education, Social Sciences, Communications, Marketing, or similar).
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and programme/project coordination.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
Desirable:
- Experience in education, schools' outreach, youth engagement, or programme delivery.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
