MCS Group is looking for an IoT Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Greater Belfast. This contract would suit a Project Manager with experience delivering IoT, industrial software or automation projects, who is comfortable working with both technical teams and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. This Project Manager will lead the delivery of innovative technology projects that connect physical devices, operational systems and software platforms.
The Role:
- Deliver end-to-end technology projects from planning through to implementation
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, third-party suppliers and customer stakeholders
- Manage project plans, budgets, risks and delivery milestones
- Ensure successful deployment of connected hardware and software solutions
- Work closely with customers to understand operational requirements and translate them into deliverable project outcomes
- Oversee testing, commissioning, rollout and project handover
- Maintain clear project governance and regular stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
The Person:
- Proven experience delivering IoT, industrial software or automation projects
- Alternatively, experience managing projects involving PLC, SCADA or other operational technology environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams
- Comfortable working with both software and hardware-focused projects
- A structured Project Manager with excellent planning, documentation and organisational skills
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, facilities management or connected infrastructure projects is preferred.
