MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth technology business who are building a modern, data-driven platform that helps large organisations better understand performance and make smarter decisions. The product brings together complex datasets into a single, unified view, enabling real-time insight and more informed decision-making. With strong backing and a growing international presence, the company is now entering its next phase of scale. This is a brand-new FDI into Belfast, with a newly established engineering hub as part of a wider global expansion.
The Role
This is a hands-on Full Stack Engineering role working across product, platform, and data-heavy systems. You'll join as part of the early Belfast team, working closely with distributed engineering teams while helping build out the local capability from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building full stack features across frontend and backend
- Developing APIs and backend services
- Working with large, structured datasets
- Contributing to cloud-based platform development
- Supporting the integration of AI-driven features into production
- Collaborating with engineers and data-focused teams
Tech Environment
- Frontend: Modern JavaScript frameworks - REACT
- Backend: Python (or GoLang)
- Database: SQL-based systems
- Cloud: GCP ideally but open to other cloud providers
- Exposure to AI/ML and modern data tooling - BONUS
What They're Looking For
- Experience building full stack applications - React, Python or GoLang
- Strong data and SQL fundamentals
- Exposure to cloud environments
- Interest in AI or data-driven products
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment
This role would suit a Mid- Senior level engineer (circa 5 years' experience) who brings strong curiosity, energy, and a genuine desire to develop and grow their career in a modern engineering environment.
