MCS Group is looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a critical business transformation programme centred around ERP implementation and process improvement (12 month FTC). The ERP Project Manager will focus on driving delivery across people, processes and technology, ensuring that business change is effectively managed and embedded throughout the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders at all levels and a third-party implementation partner, you will be responsible for maintaining momentum, managing governance, and ensuring the programme delivers against agreed objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager, with substantial experience of delivering ERP implementations, who enjoys bringing structure to complex programmes, engaging stakeholders and ensuring successful adoption of business-critical systems and processes.
The Role- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ERP-related projects and business change initiatives
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, budgets and governance activities
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and implementation partners
- Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions and locations
- Support the design and adoption of new business processes while enhancing existing ways of working
- Ensure effective change management, communication and user engagement throughout the programme lifecycle
- Produce and maintain project documentation, reporting and steering group updates
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may impact delivery timelines
- Proven track record of managing ERP implementations is essential
- Proven experience delivering large-scale business or systems transformation projects
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing organisational change alongside technology delivery
- Ability to work across multiple business functions and influence at all levels
- Strong governance, reporting and documentation experience
- Experience working with external suppliers and implementation partners
- Exposure to platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Workday or similar would be desirable
- Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent) preferred
Salary: £60k - £80k (DOE)
Duration: 12 month fixed-term contract
Location: Belfast - On-site working with limited work-from-home
Travel: Some anticipated (UK and Ire)
