MCS Group are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a global accountancy firm based in Belfast City Centre.

The Company: Our client is a leading global professional services firm, focused on delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact for its clients. The growing Tax team is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager. There is a great mix of compliance, advisory and client work across NI and the wider island of Ireland, with plenty of scope for progression and exposure to more complex projects.

The Rewards: As the successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager you will receive the following:

  • £65,000-£80,000 + bonus
  • Hybrid working and enhanced flexibility
  • Up to 12% pension
  • 25 days annual leave and the option to purchase an additional 5 days

The Role: As the successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients
  • Lead tax compliance and advisory work
  • Build client relationships and support business development
  • Work with HMRC on technical matters
  • Oversee projects, deadlines and billing
  • Delegate and develop junior team members
  • Deliver a high standard of client service

The Person: The successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager will meet the following criteria:

  • ACA or CTA qualified, or equivalent
  • Strong corporate tax experience
  • Good commercial and client relationship skills
  • Confident with business development
  • Strong team player with leadership and delegation skills
  • Experience across tax compliance and advisory
  • Open to candidates from small/mid-tier firms who are keen to progress and gain broader exposure
