The Role

  • Prepare year-end accounts for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, with a focus on medical sector clients
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information, clarify queries, and build strong working relationships
  • Work closely with a manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounts
  • Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and review of client records to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Handle accounts for newly on boarded clients following a recent acquisition, supporting smooth transitions and data integration
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures
  • Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
  • Contribute to a collaborative and client-focused team environment

The Person

  • Strong accounts preparation experience is essential
  • Part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) candidates will be considered
  • Industry background will be considered if prior experience has been in Practice
  • Support available for candidates interested in pursuing further professional qualifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA)
  • Option for candidates to remain at Accounts Technician level and opportunity to progress.
