This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in account management and IT solution sales to play a key role in supporting the company's ambitious growth plans while developing long-term client partnerships across a diverse customer base. This innovative technology business has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored IT, cloud, and cyber security solutions to clients across multiple sectors and continues to invest in people, technology, and service excellence.
The successful candidate will take ownership of key customer relationships, helping clients achieve their business objectives while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Develop and grow customer accounts by identifying opportunities to provide additional IT, cloud, and cyber security solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical and pre-sales teams to design bespoke solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Manage the full sales process from initial engagement through proposal preparation, quotation, negotiation, and ongoing account development.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
- Attend regular customer meetings both onsite and remotely to maintain strong engagement and service delivery.
- Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines detailing current and future business opportunities.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and external customers.
- Provide monthly reporting on sales activity, revenue performance, and pipeline opportunities to senior management.
- Proven experience in an account management, business development, or client relationship role within the IT or technology sector.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a B2B environment.
- Experience selling IT solutions, managed services, cloud, or cyber security offerings.
- Experience preparing bids, proposals, quotations, and customer presentations in collaboration with technical teams.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts, priorities, and follow-up actions effectively.
- Self-motivated, commercially focused, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Base salary up to £42.5K with uncapped commissions.
