MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing, award-winning organisation with operations across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, to recruit a Learning & Development Lead on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business during a significant period of growth and play a key role in shaping learning, leadership, and talent development initiatives across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful candidate will support the delivery of a progressive L&D strategy focused on leadership capability, management development, emerging talent, and employee engagement within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

The Role

  • Supporting the delivery of leadership and management development initiatives
  • Coordinating apprenticeship, emerging talent, and internal development programmes
  • Facilitating training workshops, coaching sessions, and development activities
  • Supporting succession planning, talent development, and career pathways
  • Managing and promoting digital learning initiatives and Learning Management Systems
  • Supporting onboarding, mentoring, and employee development programmes
  • Producing learning analytics and evaluating programme effectiveness
  • Building strong relationships with managers and external learning providers
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning and development across the business

The Person

  • Previous experience within an L&D, Talent Development, or HR Development role
  • Experience operating within a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Manufacturing, engineering or construction industry experience
  • Strong understanding of leadership development and employee learning strategies
  • Experience delivering workshops, coaching sessions, or management development initiatives
  • Insights Discovery trained or practitioner-level accreditation desirable
  • Awareness of apprenticeship schemes and early careers routes across NI and ROI
  • Knowledge of digital learning platforms and Learning Management Systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • CIPD qualification and/or relevant L&D certification desirable
