MCS Group have partnered with the Northern Health & Social Care Trust to recruit an Interim Support Accountant to join their Financial Management team based in Ballymena. Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial management across operational Directorates, delivering insightful financial analysis, budgetary control, forecasting, and strategic financial support to senior managers and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support budget setting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
  • Produce meaningful financial and management reports
  • Analyse complex financial and non-financial data
  • Support efficiency savings and service improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with budget holders, auditors, and finance teams
  • Deputise for the Divisional Accountant when required

Essential Criteria

  • Full CCAB or CIMA qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant finance experience at supervisory level
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Experience interpreting complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
