HR Project Lead - 12 month contract - County Antrim

MCS Group is delighted to exclusively partner with a leading private sector organisation, as they look to add an HR Project lead to their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to deliver key HR projects that will shape the future of the organisation.

The role

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a project environment and wants to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes across multiple business-critical initiatives.

The main responsibilities

  • Support a full organisational review, analysing structures, roles, and workforce data to create recommendations that align with business strategy.
  • Act as a key HR lead for the roll-out of a new HRIS, working with internal stakeholders and technology partners to ensure a smooth, user-friendly implementation.
  • Review and update HR processes and policies to align with new systems and ways of working.
  • Use workforce data to inform decision-making and measure project outcomes.
  • Assist with HR Generalist duties, as and when required.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience, ideally with exposure to project work or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices including organisational design, change management, and HRIS processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive recommendations.
  • Experience of HR system implementation is essential.
