- Newly created position MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation in the appointment of an HR Operations Manager.

The role: This is a key role supporting the design and implementation of a new HR shared services model.

The successful candidate will bring previous shared services experience and will help create a consistent, efficient and scalable HR operations function across the organisation.

The main responsibilities: Supporting the design and implementation of the HR shared services model.

Mapping existing HR processes and identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate.

Defining the services, structure, processes and responsibilities of the new function.

Establishing service standards, KPIs, SLAs and reporting frameworks.

Building and developing a high-performing HR Operations team.

Overseeing consistent delivery across the full employee lifecycle.

Improving HR systems, data integrity and management information.

Managing the transition of HR activity into the shared services function.

Working closely with HR leadership, HR Business Partners, payroll and operational stakeholders.

Driving continuous improvement following implementation.

The ideal candidate: Strong HR operations experience gained within an established shared services environment.

Previous involvement in setting up, transitioning or significantly developing an HR shared services model.

Experience of process mapping, standardisation and service improvement.

Strong HR systems, data and reporting capability.
