The role: As HR Manager, you will partner closely with operational leaders across various sites. You will bring structure, clarity and strategic guidance to all things people, while remaining hands‑on enough to support a fast‑paced, commercial environment.
The main responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of a proactive, compliant and commercially aligned HR service.
- Partner with managers to support workforce planning and operational performance.
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent management of cases.
- Drive talent development, succession planning and skills growth across the business.
- Support leadership capability, coaching managers to handle people issues confidently.
- Lead recruitment activity for key roles and build strong pipelines for niche technical skills.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, processes and compliance frameworks.
- Work with H&S teams to reinforce a high‑performance safety culture.
- Drive engagement initiatives and help shape an inclusive, values‑driven culture.
- Provide accurate HR reporting, data insights and recommendations to the senior team.
The ideal candidate:
- Strong HR generalist experience at Officer, Senior Officer or Manager level.
- Hands on NI legislation experience.
- Background in manufacturing, logistics or engineering is desirable.
- Proven experience managing ER, supporting managers, and influencing operational decision‑making in an NI company.
- Experience developing people processes, improving culture and driving organisational performance.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5/7) beneficial but not essential.
