HR Assistant (12-Month FTC) Are you an organised and detail-focused HR professional looking for a varied role within a fast-moving environment? Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an HR Assistant to join their HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain HR exposure within an established business. The Role Reporting to the HR Manager, you\’ll provide comprehensive assistance across all aspects of HR operations. The HR assistant role is key in supporting the delivery of HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding to reporting and employee engagement. You\’ll be based on-site at the company\’s modern manufacturing facility near Lurgan, working closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and maintaining accurate HR records. Support onboarding and induction activities to ensure a positive employee experience. Update and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with legislation. Assist with preparation of HR reports, audits, and the annual monitoring return. Provide support for training and development programmes. Liaise with recruitment agencies to manage temporary workers, timesheets, and related queries. Organise occupational health reviews and assist with payroll cover when required. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement projects. About You HR degree or relevant qualification Previous experience within an HR function, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with HR systems and strong IT skills Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
