The role involves providing advice and support to applicants, employees, and managers on HR queries and enquiries. Responsibilities include representing HR at departmental meetings, advising on queries, and scheduling HR activities for that department. You will undertake projects, gather relevant information, prepare reports, and make recommendations to improve service delivery. Additional tasks include preparing Occupational Health referrals, writing and reviewing job adverts, job descriptions, and personnel specifications as required, producing job offers and contracts of employment, inputting daily recordings of sickness and absence, managing the HR inbox, conducting exit interviews, processing invoices for payment, and producing reports.

The Person

As the successful candidate, you will have the following background and experience:

  • CIPD Level 3 OR experience in a people-oriented role
  • Experience dealing with challenging queries and advising internal and external customers on issues in person and via phone
