MCS Group is partnering with a well-established organisation in Belfast to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, providing expert people advice, and contributing to a positive and evolving workplace culture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters
- Support investigations, absence management processes, and performance discussions
- Partner with hiring managers to assist with recruitment activity and onboarding
- Deliver coaching and practical HR support to develop leadership capability
- Review HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment legislation
- Produce HR data insights and reports to support decision-making
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and experience
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure HR processes run smoothly and efficiently
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR generalist or advisory role
- Third-level qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline
- Solid knowledge of NI employment legislation
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable
- Experience with HR systems or HR analytics would be advantageous
